Senior Network Engineer

**Description**

SAIC is seeking a **Network Engineer** located at **Misawa AB in Japan** to support the **35th Fighter Wing Mission Utilization Simulation Facility** to establish, enhance and upgrade a myriad of networks, applications, and services, in an enterprise environment. As part of team, you will participate in implementation and maintenance of Cloud and On-Prem network and IT Infrastructure to support the customer.

**JOB DESCRIPTION:**

+ Provide level II and III systems support to 35th FW personnel and external network providers.
+ Create and manage user and group accounts across enclaves.
+ Create and maintain baseline system images and configuration using MDT, MECM, DSC Kickstart, and Ansible.
+ Respond to and implement Cyber Tasking Orders.
+ Apply patches to systems and conduct regression tests.
+ Set up and monitor backups. Restore files as needed.
+ Monitor cloud consumption and cost.
