Job Description

The Monklands Replacement Project Team are responsible for bringing together the strategic delivery of services and will plan, procure and deliver a New Acute Hospital. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Infection Prevention & Control Nurse (IPC) to provide senior specialist leadership and assurance for the new build project. This is a unique opportunity to influence the construction, commissioning and opening of a new healthcare facility, ensuring infection prevention and control principles are embedded throughout these phases through to live clinical operation.
The Role
As a subject matter expert you will:
Provide strategic IPC leadership and assurance throughout the construction, commissioning and handover phases of the new hospital.
Lead IPC input into the built environment, including clinical layouts, patient and staff flows, environmental finishes, isolation facilities and cleanabiity
