The role of Senior Process Operator concerns a large number of pharmaceutical processes for the production of protein products, which vary from highly integrated processes which are managed from a central point in the department to allow separate process steps. They are managed by a team leader, or they can be partly self-managed depending on the process. Production is done in accordance with GMP and safety/ environmental guidelines. Certain steps of the process can only be performed by the Senior Operator who is qualified for the relevant process step and operators can be deployed at all workplaces under the guidance of Senior Process operator, depending on business needs and demand.
