Senior Pavement Engineer

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Pavement Engineer to lead and deliver pavement engineering components of multidisciplinary transportation and civil infrastructure projects. The role spans the full project lifecycle—from planning and feasibility through detailed design, tender documentation, construction support, and project close-out.
The successful candidate will provide strong technical leadership in pavement engineering, mentor project teams, engage with clients and authorities, ensure compliance with South African standards, and contribute to commercially sound project delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Pavement Design
· Lead the analysis, design, and rehabilitation of flexible, rigid, and composite pavements for roads, highways, intersections, and associated infrastructure.
· Undertake pavement evaluations, including interpretation of traffic data, materials investigations, deflection testing, and performance assessments.
