Senior Payroll & GL Accountant (AU Construction, Hybrid)

Schedule: 06:00 AM to 03:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

The Payroll Officer is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of Australian payroll while supporting broader finance functions, particularly general ledger (GL) reconciliation and reporting. This role requires strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and compliance obligations, combined with solid accounting fundamentals and experience in month‑end close processes.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Processing & Compliance

• End-to-end processing of weekly, fortnightly, and/or monthly Australian payroll.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation, Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and National Employment Standards (NES).
• Calculate and process PAYG, Superannuation (SG), Payroll Tax, and other statutory deductions.
