Senior Payroll Officer - 4 Days (Temporary Contract)

The Company
I’m currently partnering with a well-established national organisation to secure an experienced Senior Payroll Officer for a temporary assignment.

Responsibilities 
This role requires a confident, hands-on payroll professional who can step in and run payroll with minimal supervision.

• End-to-end payroll processing across two entities
• 370 employees (predominantly salaried) 2 monthly payrolls + 1 fortnightly payroll
• GL extraction for finance upload
• Month-end reporting & ABS surveys
• Managing payroll queries from HR and stakeholders

About You

• Experience using Micropay (essential)
• Senior payroll experience (this is not a junior role)
• Experience with Micropay ESS (leave, onboarding, bank detail changes, payslips)
• Confident user of Excel, SharePoint and Teams
