Senior Designer – Piping (Offshore S3 D)
Overall Purpose of Role
As a Senior Designer – Piping (Offshore) at Lamprell , you will lead the design and development of complex piping systems specifically for offshore projects (topsides, jackets, or rigs). You are responsible for ensuring all deliverables—including plot plans and equipment layouts—meet customer technical specifications and Lamprell's quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities, Authorities & Accountabilities
S3 D Modeling: Lead the development of 3 D piping models using S3 D (Smart 3 D) for offshore facilities.
Independent Development: Create high-quality piping designs, equipment layouts, and piping plans with minimal supervision.
Team Leadership: Monitor and check the work of a team of 4–5 designers to ensure technical accuracy and consistency.
Deliverables: Prepare comprehensive construction packages, including isometrics, support details, and accurate Material Take-Offs (MTOs).
