Senior Planner - Resource Management & Land Development

You will be involved across a wide range of planning matters including:

• Resource consent strategy and applications
• Private plan changes and subdivision developments
• Planning assessments, submissions and reporting
• Liaison with district and regional councils
• Navigating complex environmental and regulatory matters
• Mentoring and supporting junior planners within the team

To be successful in this role you will ideally bring:

• Around 10+ years of planning experience within New Zealand
• Consultancy and/or local government experience
• Strong understanding of the Resource Management framework
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
• NZPI membership
• A practical, solutions‑focused approach to planning
