Responsibilities

Work at the heart of the application ecosystem that helps keep the lights on for New Zealand. Maintain and enhance application platforms, automation, and tooling across Linux and Windows environments. Lead technical delivery, monitoring, and continuous improvement across critical application services.

Transpower is the commercially focused and regulated State-Owned Enterprise that owns and operates the National Grid. At the very heart of the energy sector, we transport electricity from where it is generated to large electricity users and the distribution companies who deliver it to homes and businesses nationwide.

To play an active role in decarbonising the economy and reducing emissions though accelerated electrification, we continue to improve, accelerate, and scale as we look towards rapidly growing demand for clean energy, new technology, more complex power flows, and changing customer and consumer expectations.
