Senior Platform & SRE Engineer - Leading Global Hedge Fund - London

This role sits at the intersection of platform engineering, SRE, and automation, serving a firm where software delivery reliability and velocity are mission-critical.
Build and own a self-service internal developer platform - engineers commit, everything else is automated.
Python background.
Design and standardise CI/CD pipelines and release frameworks adopted org-wide.
Own production - incidents, MTTR reduction, post-mortems, and fixes.
AWS (deep), Kubernetes / EKS, Terraform or equivalent IaC.
CI/CD platform design: GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Tekton, or similar — templated, not ad-hoc.
Database ops: Aurora, PostgreSQL, SQL - practical, production-grade.
AI-assisted engineering a strong plus - uses tooling to improve delivery velocity.
Has shipped a platform that other engineers use daily without thinking about it.
