Senior Portfolio Underwriting Specialist

The role

of a Senior Portfolio Underwriting Specialist is to support the delivery of the Underwriting strategy and Portfolio operations to generate desirable growth in the Portfolio and deliver long term profitability.

This role is in the Commercial Direct and Specialised Portfolio team manage the delivery of strategic, tactical, and product initiatives for the given brand/product/channel, by identifying, designing and implementing programs of work which maximise short and long term business objectives. Whilst being accountable for initiatives that deliver P&L and customer outcomes for a given brand/channel, and promotes growth and retains business, whilst meeting compliance and regulatory requirements.

Commercial Direct and Specialised consists of 4 brands (AAMI, GIO, Suncorp and Vero). The portfolio includes Business Insurance, Commercial Motor and Strata.
