Job Description

What you’ll do:
Identify and design strategic initiatives, including underwriting appetite and growth projects, whilst liaising with key business partners across Suncorp

Support adherence to the risk appetite and continually develop and monitor performance of customer, brand and risk segments

Develop and maintain underwriting guidelines for risk acceptance for portfolio performance

Demonstrate understanding of products and their distribution and how propositions connects with customer needs 

Ensure Underwriting consistency across distribution channels.
What you’ll bring:
Experience in General Insurance Underwriting, Insurance Sales and/ or Claims

Knowledge of Underwriting risk drivers

Experience of designing/ solving while balancing trade offs

Experience making recommendations aligned with strategy and risk appetite
