Senior Product Engineer

Job Description
Product owner for photonics devices and optical sensors, responsible for product specification and performance.
Design and development of embedded and fiber optics modules for sensing and data communication optics hardware and software.
Collaboration with cross-functional team to develop and prototype new products or product derivatives, implementation to prototype functional testing and ramp to production.
Develop qualification strategy and schedule, drive execution to meet project goals.
Complete project documentation including product specifications, quality specifications, quality plans, risk analysis, FMEAs and other product related documentation.
Big data processing and analysis to provide management reporting and drive improvement activities.
Lead complex problem solving efforts and mentor others on best practices. e.g. FMEA, Control Plan, Test plan, quality tools and DOE. e.g. Leads/ coordinates CA of failures using a structured approach.
