Senior Project Engineer – Control Systems

Job Description

• Planning and execution of engineering activities within automation projects, including HW/SW design, implementation, testing, and commissioning
• Control system setup and configuration across onshore and offshore installations
• Programming of controllers and HMI on ABB control systems
• Participation in modification projects and control system upgrades within the Oil & Gas segment
• On-site implementation, testing, and commissioning as required
• Use of technologies such as 800xA, Advant, Safeguard, Harmony/Symphony+ and Melody
• Collaboration in interdisciplinary project teams within ABB’s automation department
• Travelling must be expected

Qualification Requirements

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in a relevant field such as automation, cybernetics, IT, process control, or similar
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience from the Norwegian energy industry
