Job Description

Linum Consult’s client is a major international company currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer with a background in High Voltage works to be based in their Doha office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overseeing the design, specification, and implementation of high voltage electrical systems, including: substations, switchgears, transformers, emergency power systems, etc.

  • Reviewing and validating single-line diagrams, load lists, cable schedules, and protection coordination studies

  • Reviewing technical specifications submitted by the EPCC contractor during the tendering and subcontract award phases to ensure alignment with approved project-specific requirements

  • Actively participating in multidisciplinary engineering development activities including: HAZOP, HAZID, SIL assessments, QRA, 3D model reviews, constructability and operability reviews
