Senior Project Manager, Construction & Engineering

Position Summary

Reporting to the Director, Engineering and Technical Services, the Senior Project Manager, Construction & Engineering is accountable for successful completion of various capital projects while providing technical support, guidance in troubleshooting plant equipment and service issues. This position provides proactive and effective support to improve systems and processes needed to increase efficiency, visibility, and issue management.

Key Accountabilities

• Provide technical support and guidance in troubleshooting plant equipment and services.
• Manage various capital projects, from concept, execution through commissioning.
• Create and manage capital budgets.
• Represent the company in dealing with all levels of government pertaining to permitting and obtaining necessary approvals.
• Preparation and negotiating with vendors.
• Schedule projects, resources and monitor project timelines.
