Senior Property Accountant

Our client is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to manage the full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of commercial/residential properties. This role will handle month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and variance analysis , while partnering closely with property management and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Month-end close (journal entries, accruals, bank recons)
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages
• CAM/operating cost reconciliations and tenant billings
• Balance sheet account reconciliations and variance analysis
• Support audits and assist with process improvements

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years of property accounting experience
• Strong Excel skills and experience with Yardi, MRI, or similar ERP
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and strong communicator
