Job Summary:
We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Senior Purchase Officer with relevant experience in procurement of Electrical, Civil, and General items. The candidate will be responsible for managing purchasing operations, maintaining supplier relationships, ensuring timely availability of medicines and surgical items, and maintaining accurate procurement records to support smooth hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Handling procurement of Electrical, Civil, and General items.
Vendor sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation
Processing purchase orders and ensuring timely deliveries
Maintaining stock coordination with end users
Ensuring compliance with organizational procurement policies
Requirements:
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably in healthcare or hospital settings
