Senior Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:

• Measure and prepare tender documentation and negotiation with contractors
• Work closely with the Quantity Surveyor Manager to estimate cost and quantity take-off
• Source for quotations from suppliers and sub-contractors, etc.
• Deal with significant contractual issues including extension of time, loss and expense claims, terms and conditions, etc.
• Evaluate and process vendors claims
• Prepare monthly progress claims and finalize project accounts
• Assist Project Manager in the pre-contact and post-contact of projects
• Verification of sub-contractor payment and final account
• Any ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering/Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Minimum 7 years of experience in related field
• Familiar with local standards, project implementations & building codes
• Good working attitude and team player
