Senior Research Development Chemist

Job Summary
The Senior Chemist is responsible for formulation development, research, and continuous improvement of premix and construction chemical products. This role is hands-on and technical, with responsibility to guide junior chemists and support laboratory activities. The position focuses on improving existing products, developing new formulations, and supporting production and quality requirements for the Malaysian construction market.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Formulation Development
Develop and improve formulations for:
a) Dry premix products (tile adhesives, skim coats, plasters, grouts, repair mortars, etc.)
b) Construction chemicals (waterproofing systems, bonding agents, admixtures, sealers, etc.)
Conduct laboratory trials, testing, and formulation optimization
Evaluate raw materials and alternative sources suitable for local supply in Malaysia
Support new product development from lab scale to production trial
