The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced clinician researcher, epidemiologist or critical care researcher to join the Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Research Centre (ANZIC-RC) within Monash University’s School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. Working at the forefront of respiratory surveillance and intensive care research, you will play a key leadership role in the nationally significant SPRINT-SARI Australia program.

SPRINT-SARI Australia delivers near real-time surveillance of Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) patients admitted to intensive care units across Australia, providing highly granular national data that informs pandemic preparedness, public health response and critical care decision-making. The program contributes directly to national surveillance initiatives and supports key Australian Government public health priorities.
