Senior Resident Physician / Resident Physician (SACH - Inpatient)

Job Responsibilities Carry out daily clinical rounds, clinics or visits in assigned area/s by reviewing patients' condition and ordering treatment and investigations as required. Attend to new admissions or referrals by reviewing patients' referral notes, taking a comprehensive history, performing physical examinations and interviewing family members (as appropriate). Carry out rounds with visiting consultants, and to consider/carry out their recommendations as appropriate. Perform clinical procedures e.g. suturing, venepuncture, setting up IV lines, catheterization. Participate in Patient Care Conference (also known as multidisciplinary meetings), and contribute to the multidisciplinary care and/or discharge planning of patients. This may include screening and referring patients to other services such as specialist, senior care centres, day rehabilitation centres, Home Nursing Services and/or Home Medical Services.
