Senior Scientist - Contractor

We are seeking a Senior Scientist (contractor) based in Argentina to provide scientific and technical services supporting product development programs. This individual's services will support the development of new biological products, enabling their transition from early development and feasibility through tech transfer to GMP production. This individual will act as the scientific and technical aide in interactions with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Support early-stage product development for recombinant proteins within Akron’s NPI process, including design, optimization, and start-up of new manufacturing processes.
• Develop and optimize biologics production protocols, including upstream (expression systems such as E. coli, Pichia, CHO) and downstream processes to improve efficiency.
