We are looking for candidates to join the fusion-energy effort in the newly formed Future Energy Acceleration & Translation (FEAT) Programme, A*STAR. FEATs Advanced Ceramic Composite & Coatings team focuses primarily on advanced materials development. The new hires will be expected to contribute to and potentially lead research in materials synthesis and irradiation testing & analysis. While the new hires will begin by working on existing projects, participation in grant calls as a principal investigator will be highly encouraged.

The key scope of job includes: 
Develop and evaluate advanced materials for energy applications, including fusion, fission, hydrogen technologies, or other extreme environment. 

Conduct research on materials development for harsh and extreme environments to improve performance and reliability in energy applications.
