Discovery Biotherapeutics and Genetic Medicine (BGM) at AbbVie is seeking a highly motivated and experienced scientist to join the Protein Sciences Analytical Team in Worcester, MA. This position provides a unique opportunity to directly impact multiple Discovery Research Therapeutic Areas (TAs) and projects by delivering in-depth analytical and functional characterization of biologics and biopharmaceutical products—including complex protein antigens, monoclonal antibodies, multi-specifics, and other antibody-like biologics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in protein analytical characterization, with expertise in structural mass spectrometry, including hydrogen-deuterium exchange mass spectrometry (HDX-MS), crosslinking mass spectrometry (XL-MS), and covalent labeling mass spectrometry (CL-MS) to characterize epitopes and antigen-antibody interactions.
