Senior Security Operations Analyst

Opportunity

We're looking for a Senior Security Operations Analyst to join our Security Operations Centre (SOC). You'll work alongside a supportive team and our managed security service partner, helping protect the digital and operational technology that underpins New Zealand's energy future.

This is a hands‑on technical role where you'll lead investigations, build and tune detections, apply automation, and help shape how our SOC continues to evolve.

Responsibilities

• Developing and refining detection logic across our SIEM and security tooling, and conducting proactive threat hunting
• Leading incident investigations end‑to‑end, including root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement
• Applying automation and AI‑assisted capability to streamline security workflows
