Perform Chinese market scouting and benchmarking of semiconductor and ASIC suppliers
Act as technical interface to semiconductor and ASIC suppliers for RFI / RFQ activities
Lead and support RFI / RFQ processes, including requirement clarification and technical evaluation
Conduct in-depth technical discussions with suppliers on Semiconductor technologies, Packaging concepts, and Product roadmaps and second-source options
Evaluate and support component selection decisions with focus on availability, robustness, cost, and automotive compliance
Assess and manage supplier risks, including single-source dependencies and long lead times
Support definition and implementation of semiconductor robustness and localization strategies
Interface closely with HW development, HW integration, and purchasing teams
Support assessment of supplier quality, reliability, and change management (PCN / PDN)
