Senior Software Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer / Technical Lead to take full ownership of an existing software platform inherited through a recent acquisition. This role is critical to bringing structure, control, and long-term technical direction to a codebase and API stack that is currently dated and built on legacy design patterns.

While the original developer has been retained, the business now requires a senior technical leader who can objectively assess what has been inherited, define what good looks like, and reshape the platform into a cleaner, more maintainable, and scalable architecture.

This is a hands-on role requiring deep technical involvement, strong architectural judgement, and the confidence to set direction. Experience within broadband ISP or carrier environments would be advantageous, but the priority is senior technical ownership and leadership.
