About the Role

Our client are a forward thinking SaaS organisation looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong Java and Spring Boot experience to join their dynamic team in Petone. This is a high-impact role where you’ll help develop a scalable microservices environment within a growing organisation.
Responsibilities
Build scalable microservices with Java and Spring Boot
Develop RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture components
Collaborate on cloud/container deployment (Docker/Kubernetes)
Work across Postgres and NoSQL databases
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and testing practices
Support high-performance, modern engineering practices
Skills & Experience
Strong Java skills (concurrency, collections, design patterns)
Extensive experience with Spring Boot (Data, Security, JPA/Hibernate)
