Senior Solid Waste Management Engineer

We're looking for a senior engineer with strong expertise in solid waste management, landfill barrier systems, geotechnical design, and sustainable civil infrastructure. If you thrive in a specialist environment and want to influence major waste and environmental projects, this role is for you.

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Lead designs for landfill barriers, capping, leachate and gas systems
• Deliver waste infrastructure designs for RTSs, MRFs, and gas systems
• Ensure full compliance with SA environmental regulations and best practice
• Support feasibility, planning, risk assessment, and technical reviews
• Drive technical quality, team development, and innovation
• Collaborate with the Technical Director on strategy and proposals
• Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 8+ years in solid waste and landfill engineering
