Senior Specialist Civil Engineer

Overview The Civil Engineering Departments within the Candu Energy are engaged in nuclear civil engineering work involving structural analysis, civil design, ageing management to support the life extension, plant modification and service work of existing Nuclear Power Plants (NPPs) and New Builds. Civil/Structural engineers are required to perform structural and seismic analysis, seismic margin assessment, and structural design as well as prepare and issue analysis, design, and assessment documents.

Position Candu Energy Inc. is looking to hire multiple Senior Specialist Civil Engineers for full‑time, permanent positions. The work includes structural and seismic analysis, design checks, and assessment of structures, systems, and components for existing Nuclear Power Plants (NPPs) and new builds. Candidates should be familiar with analysis programs such as ANSYS, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, SSASI, ETABS, SAFE, etc.
