Senior Specialist GBS Taxes

The Senior Specialist GBS Taxes is responsible for executing tax accounting tasks such as VAT postings, VAT account reconciliation, analyzing differences, evaluating possible risks in several areas through internal controls (e.g., invoice processing, cash flow) and supporting accounting and tax requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage timely preparation of complex/high-volume tax declarations from beginning to end, including data extraction, controls, input, review, submission, payment and documentation.
• Ensure tax accounts are correct and reconciled with declarations and P&L.
• Prepare and analyze fiscal books.
• Support month-end and closing procedures.
• Act as point of contact for tax matters and foster knowledge within GBS.
• Clarify major compliance exceptions and maintain up-to-date documentation of issues and resolutions.
• Monitor tax and legal changes.
• Execute tax controls and advanced analytics.
