Senior/ Staff Nurse (operating theatre)

The Role

Working Location:
• Mount Elizabeth Orchard Hospital
• Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital
• Gleneagles Hospital
• Parkway East Hospital

Key accountabilities

• Possess knowledge related to patient safety of OT - asepsis, instrument management, swab management, consent, time out, positioning, etc.
• Manage and plan the care management of individual patient.
• Participate in physician rounds and carry out treatment / investigations as ordered.
• Participate in action plans for the unit to enhance employee engagement.
• Maintain current trends in nursing practice and management through formal education and self- development. Ensure customer satisfaction, resolve and follow through quality/ service issues.
• Demonstrate competency in nursing core and special skills.
• Supervise junior nursing personnel in providing quality nursing care.
