Senior Structural Engineer

Team Associates Ltd. is an engineering firm that has been established since 1989 and focuses on structural engineering solutions for manufacturing and industrial clients.

We are seeking one full‑time engineer with a structural engineering background.

Responsibilities

• Travel to site to meet with clients
• Take measurements and make sketches
• Prepare stamped engineering drawings to be provided to clients
• Prepare proposals and findings reports
• Calculate load‑bearing values with relevant safety factors
• Provide structural analysis / load calculations

Skill Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years experience with structural engineering design; 5 years in Canada preferred
• A degree in structural engineering
• Licensed professional engineer of Ontario an asset
• Extensive knowledge of OBC, Fire Code of Ontario, Ministry of Labour guidelines, etc.
