Senior structural engineer

Overview
Senior Structural Engineers required on a contract basis in Warrington.
Role Purpose:
Undertake structural design for LSS1 as directed by the Lead Structural Engineer. This includes design of the portal frame, crane support steelwork, secondary steelwork, reinforced concrete raft, walls and slabs.
Collaborate with structural designers to translate the design into a 3 D model and produce 2 D Auto CAD GA and detail drawings from the model as the design progresses through Preliminary and Detailed Design.
Develop material and workmanship specifications for the structural elements as the design progresses into Detailed Design.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and the Construction team to ensure the overall Plant design is coordinated, meets functional requirements, and can be constructed safely and efficiently.
