Senior Structural Technical Modeler

Responsibilities The Senior Technical Modeler is a top-level senior drafter/technician (non-supervisory level), and is responsible for preparation of construction documents for BIM drawings and details on a variety of projects that range vastly in scale, detail, and complexity. A Senior Technical Modeler should be able to rapidly develop structural building information models (BIMs), annotate plans and details, create three- dimensional renderings, rationalize geometry for appropriate structural schemes, and assist with creating structural narratives. Works closely with design originator, project managers and team of engineers and modelers; may recommend minor design changes requiring sound judgment and discretion.
