Senior Systems/Network Engineer – VTAM, TCP/IP

We are seeking an experienced Systems/Network Engineer to lead the installation, upgrade, and maintenance of VTAM, TCP/IP, OSA, and related enterprise products. This role combines hands-on technical work with project and operational support, ensuring critical subsystems and automation processes run reliably.
You'll work closely with operations teams, manage subsystem interfaces, perform software maintenance, and provide expertise in network and system administration.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Install, upgrade, and maintain VTAM, TCP/IP, OSA, and associated products
Manage SMPE software updates and related automation packages
Interface with operations teams, logs, and automated jobs to ensure seamless processes
Maintain and troubleshoot related software and tools
Execute backup and recovery processes for subsystems
