Senior Tax Clerk - Cape Town

Hire Resolve is seeking a dedicated and driven Tax Professional to join a full-time position that has become available for a Senior Tax Clerk at our client's Auditing and Accounting firm in Sunningdale, Cape Town. The candidate will have the following responsibilities, and must meet the following minimum requirements:

Qualifications, skills, and experience

• Degree in Finance/Taxation
• Fluent on SARS EFiling and Easyfile
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Sage & Xero advantageous
• Knowledgeable of South African VAT & Tax laws.
• Experience in GreatSoft Tax (advantageous)
• SAIPA or SAICA articles advantageous

Responsibilities

• Completion and submission of income tax returns for individuals, companies, and trusts
• Completion, submission, and follow-up of objections (SARS)
• Attend SARS meetings as company representative.
