Senior tax compliance officer

A position has become available for a dynamic senior tax compliance officer to help grow our tax compliance team. We are looking for an individual to look after the full tax compliance function for the individual and trust tax clients of Forvis Mazars.

Duties and Responsibilities Gather and collate tax related information from clients and third parties to complete returns such as ITR12, IT12 T, and IRP6 editions 1, 2, and 3; prepare these returns and associated tax computations; reconcile assessments; attend to all related queries and SARS objections (NOO, NOA, ADR1); apply for tax clearance certificates; ensure quality control by preparing completed checklists for return reviews; achieve yearly KPI’s in tax returns submitted, fees billed, and client registrations.
