Senior Tax Compliance Officer

A position has become available for a dynamic senior tax compliance officer to help grow our tax compliance team. We are looking for an individual to look after the full tax compliance function for the individual and trust tax clients of Forvis Mazars.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Gather and collate tax related information from clients and third parties in order to complete the following returns:
• ITR12
• IT12T
• IRP6, 1st, 2nd and 3rd
• Prepare the ITR12, IT12T and IRP6 returns
• Prepare tax computations
• Reconciliation of assessments
• Attend to all related queries and SARS objections and appeals (NOO, NOA, ADR1)
• Apply for tax clearance certificates (Good standing, Tender & Foreign investment)
• Ensure quality control of the returns by preparing a completed check list when preparing returns for review
