Senior Tax Expert

Job Objective

The Senior Tax Specialist is the primary technical and operational lead for the tax discipline at Odoo Mexico. In a high-transactional environment, we are looking for a problem-solving expert to execute internal tax processes, coordinate an analyst’s support, and manage the operational interaction with our external firm. Your mission is to ensure the operation is technically sound, reporting directly to Finance Leadership to guarantee Odoo’s full tax compliance.

Main Responsibilities

1. Compliance Management, Operations, and Annual Closing

• Compliance Coordination: Coordinate support from the internal tax analyst and manage operational communication with the external tax firm. Validate calculations for ISR (Income Tax), IVA (VAT), Withholdings, and other applicable taxes prior to official filing.
