The Senior Technical Advisor will evaluate scientific and technical submissions, liaise with government, industry, First Nations and stakeholders, and prepare and present recommendations to the Board on water licences and land use permits.

Compensation

• Salary ranges from $117,347 to $148,209
• Northern living allowance up to $26,000 per year

Qualifications

• A science degree, preferably at a Master's level, relevant to environmental management or engineering
• Several years of experience in environmental management, preferably in the northern regulatory system
• Knowledge of northern Indigenous culture and way of life
