Responsibilities

The Authorized Person or Trainee for Avionics & Electrical Systems (AE) plays a critical role within the team responsible for overseeing the design and certifying advanced avionics and electrical solutions. This position is integral to addressing component and system obsolescence, supporting upgrades and expansions of existing aircraft capabilities, driving new product development, and contributing to Bell’s continuing airworthiness initiatives and aircraft customization efforts.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and technical expertise to meet Transport Canada Civil Aviation (and other international airworthiness) certification standards for light and transport category rotorcraft. This role requires a solid understanding of airborne avionics and electrical systems, along with a willingness to learn and apply accepted means of compliance to ensure adherence to applicable airworthiness standards.
