WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?As a Senior Technical Specialist, you will work within the Mainframe Operating Systems team to install and support z/OS products. This team is responsible for providing support for the evaluation, installation, maintenance, and trouble shooting of a suite of System Z operating system components and associated vendor products that run on all RBC Mainframe processors. WHAT WILL YOU DO?Install and support various z/OS mainframe products, primarily focused on Netview/System Automation.
Liaise with the various support teams in Production Mainframe Services, Mainframe Operating Systems group, application development groups, and any other clients of supported products.
Direct research, identify and make recommendations on exploitation of new feature / function of supported vendor software.
Ensure products are kept at supported and current levels.
