Overview

Senior Trade Settlements Analyst – Contract Remote. Our Calgary client is seeking a Remote Senior Trade Settlements Analyst to support their Investment Operations team through June, with a possible two‑month extension. The role ensures accurate and timely settlement of all public market trades and involves issuing settlement instructions to reduce financial and reputational risk. The analyst will also advise Portfolio Managers and Traders on settlement processes and help maintain operational efficiency across counterparties.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate, timely settlement of all public market trades (Equities, Fixed Income, Futures, FX Spots/Forwards, Money Markets, Repos).
• Investigate and resolve trade breaks with brokers.
• Confirm all trades flow correctly to downstream systems, custodians, and prime brokers.
• Provide settlement expertise for new and existing products.
