Key Responsibilities

• Tunnel Design Development

  Produce and review design calculations, drawings, and specifications for TBM tunnels (EPB, Slurry, Hard Rock); SEM/NATM tunnels and caverns; launching/receiving shafts; cross-passages; station caverns and mined tunnels. Develop structural and geotechnical design models (2D/3D FEM, analytical, empirical).

  • Geotechnical and Structural Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of ground‑structure interaction for various ground conditions. Conduct numerical modelling (e.g., PLAXIS, FLAC, MIDAS, RS2, Abaqus). Evaluate settlement, convergence, lining stresses, and support requirements.

• Design Documentation

  Prepare design reports, calculations, drawings, and technical specifications. Provide input for tender submissions, feasibility studies, and constructability ...
