Senior TV Producer

**What's the role?**



The role of a Senior TV Producer is to be responsible ultimately for building all the elements required for a one-hour host-led opinion show and putting it to air. The role involves constant discussion with the host on which stories to cover, which guests to chase and which vision to use.



This is a fulltime position offered as a 12 Month Max Term Parental Leave contract.



**Key Responsibilities:**



+ Lead and supervise a small team putting together a unique program with a wide variety of topical news, politics and current affairs stories to build a show packed with entertaining content.

+ Compile rundowns and output shows live from the control room, communicating with pilots, TDs, host, reporters and guests, while last-minute changes under pressure.

+ Book guests and studios and manage talent in the newsroom, finding fresh faces where possible.
