**Role Purpose:**

To underwrite and grow a profitable International Life Sciences portfolio in line with The Hartford Syndicate business plan across International/Lloyd’s, London, and UK markets. Provide underwriting advice, structure appropriate coverage, and secure business at a competitive premium.

**Key Accountabilities:**

+ Build and maintain an understanding of Life Sciences risks and exposures (e.g., drug manufacturing/API, clinical trials, medical devices/products, and contract research organisations).
