Senior Vegetation and Wetland Ecologist (Calgary)

Senior Vegetation and Wetland Ecologist – The successful applicant will be mostly office based (80%) with some field support and site visits (20%). The role is part of the Western Terrestrial Services Team located in Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide senior technical input on vegetation and wetland technical work including environmental assessments, biophysical impact assessments, environmental evaluations, and wetland assessments.
• Support business development activities such as proposals and cost estimates.
• Provide technical input and support to intermediate and junior staff on a variety of projects.
• Design and execute complex biological investigations and oversee field surveys.
• Prepare and/or review technical reports, proposals, cost estimates and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with private and public sector clients, approval agencies, sub‑consultants, and subcontractors.
