Senior Vegetation Ecologist

Your Opportunity

Stantec is seeking a highly motivated, personable, organized Senior Vegetation Ecologist to perform program development and execution for a wide variety of projects within the vegetation ecology and wetland disciplines. You will lead and effectively execute work plans and budgets, write and quality‑review plans, reports, and proposals, and support technical innovation and development of the team. You will work independently and/or supervise field and project teams at a discipline level and mentor junior and intermediate staff.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Leading and conducting wetland assessments, ecological land classification (ELC) surveys, and vegetation inventories with a focus on species of conservation concern that include species at risk and weeds.
